Sprinkles and Chocolate Sablés
Sweet sweet snacks, colourful energy and easy to add in the lunch box ;)
Sablés are mouth-watering treats that can be enjoyed at any time of the day. In the lunch box it's a perfect snack for energised kids ;). Cleo and Archi love them covered with sparkles and chocolate chunks but for a lighter version, you can add just a lemon zest in the dough. They can be kept in metal box for a few days.
preparation time: 5 min for making the dough till 20 min for the kids to enjoy shaping and decoration
cooking: 12 min
Ingredients for 12 big sablés:
250g of unbleached flour
125g of butter
75 g of raw sugar
1 egg
1tsp of vanilla flavour
1 pinch of salt
any decoration from your pantry: sprinkles, chocolate chunck
Method:
launch the oven at 200°C
put the butter in the mixing bowl to melt it, speed 1.5, 1min at 37°C.
add the flour, sugar, egg, vanilla flavour, use dough mode, 2 min.
put the dough in a mixing bowl, stretch it and cut 12 pieces.
give the pieces to the kids and let them use their imagination!!
put in the sablés in the oven for 12 min and let them cool down before eating.
